Join us on March 23 at 1 pm for a lecture by Stephany Rimland as she discusses “Women in the Arts: Beyond Feminism” This lecture will look at the first wave and subsequent development of a feminist critique of and rethinking of art history and how women artists of today view themselves in relation to feminism and the “gender” problem.
Our lecture series concludes on March 24 at 12pm with a presentation by Liberal Arts instructor, JJ Pionke as she presents “Eat Your Vegetables! Women, Food and Culture.” JJ’s lecture will explore the changing relationship between women and food throughout American history with special emphasis on women at home.
